WHAT IS KAMBO?

Kambo is a traditional ceremony with deep roots in the indigenous tribes of the Amazon, where it has been part of sacred ritual for generations. The secretion comes from the giant monkey tree frog, gathered with care and respect for the animal, which is never harmed. In ceremony, Kambo is applied to small points on the skin in a process that is brief, intentional, and held with reverence. For the people who have kept this tradition alive, it has always been far more than a physical act it is a moment of focus, release, and connection to something older than all of us. Today, people across the world are drawn to Kambo for their own reasons. Some come seeking stillness. Some come at a turning point. Some simply feel the call and trust it. Whatever brings you here, you'll be guided through every step in a calm, safe and sacred space with nothing rushed and nothing forced.

Ceremonies are held at our space in Newcastle upon Tyne. Clients travel from Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and across Northumberland to sit in ceremony. Online consultations are available for those further afield, or anyone considering ceremony for the first time.

Why I do this work.
And why it matters.
My path into this work was never planned. It found me in the moments when life stripped away everything familiar and Kambo was the call I couldn't ignore. My first encounter wasn't gentle, but it was honest. It met me without judgement, and something real opened in me that day.
Since then, this has been my devotion: to the intelligence of the body, to the wisdom of the earth, and to the sacred work of holding space for others. I offer Kambo not as someone who stands above you, but as someone who has been through their own fires. My work is grounded, compassionate, and rooted in presence — I hold space for what needs to rise, and honour what's ready to be released.
Now based in Newcastle and serving people across the North East, I welcome each person who steps onto this path with humility, gratitude and deep respect.
